Position: Pest Control Technician
Location: Dar es salaam, Tanzania
Job Type: Full-time

We
are looking for a Pest Control Technician who is knowledgeable about
the different kinds of pests and their habitats. A Pest Control
Technician who is responsible for inspecting customers’ premises,
advising them on possible treatment options and clearing the environment
from items that could draw pests to the area.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect
  commercial and residential buildings and the surrounding property to
  identify the type and source of infestation, determine how much
  damage has been done and secure access to the infested locations
• Measure
  the dimensions of the infested area to calculate the requirements for
  fumigants, and provide the client with an estimated cost for service
• Develop treatment plans and prevention methods to remove pest problems for clients and reduce the risk of re-infestation
• Provide
  clients with safety warnings and other directions regarding leaving the
  premises or covering sensitive furnishing and other items during the
  treatment process
• Treat rooms, furnishings, wood, clothing,
  ditches and surrounding grasslands and trees by spraying powders, gasses
  or other chemical solutions on affected areas
• Direct and assist co-workers during the extermination process to remove or eliminate insects, rodents or weeds
• Remove
  dead insects, rodents and weeds, and ensure the premises are free of
  all treatment chemicals and equipment before leaving the job site
• Maintain positive company image by competently presenting and explaining service options to customers
• Facilitate
  safe, efficient and effective execution of service calls by always
  acting in accordance with applicable regulatory and company-specific
  standards
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints by addressing concerns and identifying solutions in a timely manner
• Use
  and maintain safety equipment including bump caps, gloves, goggles,
  respirators, eye washers, first aid kits and spill abatement equipment.
• Operate
  company vehicles, power sprayers, foggers, dusters, drills, vacuums and
  a variety of common hand and power tools and other equipment.
• Perform
  minor repairs on tools and related equipment, as needed Required

Qualifications:

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent; additional training and certification in pest control is preferred.
• Excellent command of both English and Swahili required.
• Computer proficiency especially the use of office applications
• Must possess good customer service skills and be customer focused
• Strong
  ability to keep good records of hours worked, chemicals used, and
  payment collected Must possess physical stamina and be able to withstand
  harsh conditions as the nature of the job requires standing for a long
  period of time and working in an uncomfortable environment
• Must
  be detailed oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions in
  applying pesticide to avoid harm to the client and self
• Must possess a team spirit and be able to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and possess good interpersonal skills
• Must have good time and process management skills
• Must
  be trustworthy as duties are mostly discharged without the physical
  presence of the client Must have good organizational skills
• Must be very knowledgeable about a wide variety of pests, and be up-to-date with current industrial practice
• Must be willing and able to work night shifts when required

Role Description:
We
are looking for a dynamic Web Developer & Graphic Designer to join
our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing
user-friendly websites and engaging graphic content that aligns with our
brand and clients’ needs. This role will be based at our Dar es Salaam
office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive websites
• Create visually appealing graphics for web and print media
• Work
  closely with the marketing team to create content that drives
  engagement. • Ensure website designs are functional and optimized for
  performance

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Excellent understanding of content management systems (CMS) and technology infrastructures
• Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
• Familiarity with web standards
• Working knowledge of website management tools
• Experience in using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
• Strong graphic design skills with an understanding of web design principles
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team

Experience:

• 0
  to 2 years’ experience and diploma or a degree in computer science, IT,
  Graphic design, systems engineering, or related qualification is
  preferred
