Open Positions at Quanah Schools

1. Daycare Director (Iringa Municipality Residents Preferred)
   • Job Description:
     Lead and manage the daycare center, ensuring compliance with Tanzanian
     childcare regulations and developing educational programs for children
     aged 1 to 6 years.
   • Qualifications:
     Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, 3+
     years of experience in childcare or education management, fluency in
     Kiswahili and English.
2. Lead Teacher (Preschool)
   • Job Description: Design and implement engaging programs for children aged 3 to 6 years, fostering social, emotional, and academic development.
   • Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, 2+ years of preschool teaching experience, fluent in Kiswahili and English.
3. Toddler Teacher
   • Job Description: Provide care and education for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years, promoting physical, social, and emotional development.
   • Qualifications:
     Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, prior experience
     working with toddlers is preferred, fluency in Kiswahili and basic
     English.
4. Assistant Teacher
   • Job Description:
     Support lead teachers in planning activities, supervising children
     during meals, playtime, and rest, and maintaining classroom
     organization.
   • Qualifications: Certificate in childcare (preferred but not mandatory), experience working with children, fluent in Kiswahili.
5. Childcare Aide
   • Job Description: Assist in meal preparation, supervise children during transitions, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
   • Qualifications: Secondary school education (Form IV or VI), prior childcare experience is an advantage, fluent in Kiswahili.
6. Cook/Nutritionist
   • Job Description: Prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals, ensuring dietary needs and food safety standards are met.
   • Qualifications: Certificate in Food and Nutrition or related field, experience in meal preparation for children is preferred.
7. Janitorial Staff
   • Job Description: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the daycare center, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.
   • Qualifications: Primary or secondary school education, cleaning or maintenance experience is a plus, residing in Iringa Municipality preferred.
8. ICT Expert (Website and Social Media Manager)
   • Job Description:
     Manage the school’s website and social media platforms, ensuring content
     aligns with the daycare’s mission and values, and stream live events.
   • Qualifications:
     Degree or Diploma in IT or related field, experience in website
     management and social media marketing, video editing skills, fluent in
     Kiswahili and English.
9. Drone Operator
   • Job Description: Capture aerial footage of school activities and events using drone technology.
   • Qualifications: Certification in drone operation, experience in aerial photography, creative eye for visuals.
10. Health Attendant
    • Job Description: Monitor children’s health, administer first aid, and maintain health records for children and staff.
    • Qualifications:
      Certificate or Diploma in Nursing or Public Health, Basic First Aid and
      CPR certification, prior childcare experience is preferred.
11. Childcare Taker
    • Job Description: Assist with daily routines, provide care, and support children with special needs.
    • Qualifications: Certificate in Childcare or related field (preferred), experience working with young children, fluent in Kiswahili.
12. School Bus Transport Officer
    
    • Job Description:
      Ensure the safe transportation of children to and from the daycare
      center, manage attendance records, and ensure buses comply with safety
      standards.
    • Qualifications:
      Certificate in Transport Management or related field, experience in
      school transportation, knowledge of traffic safety regulations.
