Accountant
Job Type: Full-time
JOB DESCRIPTION
IFS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our
team. The accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate
financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the team in
ensuring compliance with accounting standards and practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
- Post day to day transactions in the accounting systems.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Monitor financial data and recommend improvements where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The ideal candidate for this role should have
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software is a must.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Use Tally software to manage accounting processes efficiently.
