Position: Construction Project Manager

Overview:
We
seek an experienced Construction Project Manager (minimum age 40) to
oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Scheduling Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Monitor and update schedules.
2. Reporting and Documentation Prepare progress and financial reports.
Maintain accurate project documentation.
3. Contractor and Vendor Management Identify and manage contractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with project specifications.
4. Team Building and Leadership Recruit and train project managers.
Foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
• Knowledge of Zanzibar’s construction laws.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software; familiarity with ASANA charts preferred.
• Fluency in English; Swahili is a plus.
• Minimum age of 40 years.
