Jobs in Tanzania 2024: New Government Job Opportunities at The Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) 2024
Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) is among the beneficiaries of the
World Bank financing through the Higher Education for Economic
Transformation Project (HEET-P166415) that is being implemented for five
years (2021- 2026). MoCU intends to use part of the funds to construct
and rehabilitate its teaching and learning infrastructure at Kizumbi
Institute of Co-operative and Business Education (KICoB) in Shinyanga
Region, and Moshi Campus in Kilimanjaro Region. These activities require
expertise in civil works. Thus, the University intends to apply parts
of the proceeds for hiring a new employer.

Overview
The Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) The history of the Moshi
Co-operative University (MoCU) dates way back to 5th January 1963 when
the then Co-operative College Moshi was established. The College’s
primary responsibility was training of human resource in the
co-operative sector under the then Ministry of Co-operatives and
Community Development. The College was subsequently established through
the Co-operative College Act No. 32 (Repealed) of 1964 as an autonomous
institution with its own Governing Board.
