NEW VACANCY TAX MANAGER

• (Woman or man)
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, business
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax management or economics management, 3 of which must be at a reputable
• A masters degree in Tax Law, Tax Administration, Fiscal Audit and Tax
  firm or a telecommunications or Economic Policy, CPA/ACCA is an added
  advantage company.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely preparation of returns for all taxes that the company,
  its subsidiaries and sister companies have with the tax authorities.
• Maintain an up-to-date tax payments calendar and ensure timely filing
  of relevant tax returns and payment of tax and statutory deductions.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of all direct and indirect tax accounts and all key Tax
• Controls over taxation unit.
• Proper management of Tanzania Revenue Authority’s Taxpayer Online Portal and Zanzibar Revenue Authority’s Online Portal.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with Tax contacts in both
  Tanzania Revenue Authority(TRA), Zanzibar Revenue Authority (ZRA)and
  other key taxing, regulating and government authorities.
• Ensure
  monthly corporate income tax and deferred tax computations and
  provision of tax amounts for booking in the chart of accounts.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of Tax Laws, Regulations and Tax
• Practices in both Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Problem-solving attitude coupled with highest degree of ownership and commitment.
