Vacancy Title: Tax Associate
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
The Tax Associate is responsible for ensuring the company adheres to all client tax regulatory requirements in Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute
  assignments in accordance with the firm’s standards, procedures, and
  methodologies, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines and budgets.
• Assist Managers, Directors, and Partners in delivering services to clients in diversified sectors.
• Develop and maintain good client and revenue authority relationships.
• Keep
  abreast with technical developments in the profession and the country,
  to anticipate client needs and to offer value-added and practical
  business solutions
• Stay informed about technical developments in
  the profession and local regulations to proactively address client
  needs with innovative and practical business solutions.
• Prepare and file tax returns on behalf of clients with precision and attention to detail.
• Review work prepared by associates, ensuring quality standards and providing mentorship to foster professional growth.
• Handle Tanzania Revenue Authority Audits and respond to enquiries from regulatory agencies with confidence and professionalism.

Education Requirements & Job Experience Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or any other related field
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of tax-related experience
• Good understanding of Tanzanian Tax regulations and compliance
• CPA/ACCA certification is an added advantage
• Work experience with a professional consulting or audit firm will be an added advantage
• Registered Tax consultancy will be an added advantage
