SHORT-TERM CONSULTANT ASSIGNMENT DELIVERING TRAINING ON EXTENSION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Vi
Agroforestry is seeking a Short-Term Consultant to deliver training on
extension systems and methods for sustainable agriculture. The
consultant will train Farmer Organizations (FOs) in Tanzania, Kenya, and
Uganda on participatory extension methods to improve agricultural
productivity, resilience to climate change, and food security.

This
two-day training will focus on effective communication, sustainable
farming practices, market access, and the adoption of new agricultural
technologies. The consultant will also develop training modules tailored
to the program’s objectives, ensuring practical learning for
smallholder farmers.
The training is part of the Agroforestry for
Sustainable Livelihood and Biodiversity (ASILI-B) program, aimed at
empowering farmers and enhancing biodiversity conservation.
