China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation
(CCECC): The main contractor of the standard gauge railway project (SGR)
Tabora – Kigoma lot 6. CCECC is seeking to recruit suitably qualified
and experienced highly motivated candidates to fill four (4) positions as detailed below:

4 New Jobs SGR Tabora – Kigoma at CCECC March 2025

1: STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (3)
The Structural Engineer will have the following main duties
1、 Ability to prepare Methods Statement (MST) and complete reports.
2、 Capable of reviewing railway-related drawings, including but not limited to bridges, culverts, and livestock crossings.
3、 Able to perform structural analysis and calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
4、 Proficiency in using relevant engineering software.
5、 Ability to resolve issues arising on the construction site and coordinate collaboration among various department.
6、 Ability to coordinate closely with design teams and site engineers to resolve structural design related issues.
7、 A professional and positive work attitude, with proactive approach to solving problems.
8、
Capable of inspecting structural construction works on site-identifying
potential structural risks and providing practical solution.
9、 Ability to handle miscellaneous tasks and minor issues that may occur during daily operations.
10、 Able to review and respond professionally to technical queries, correspondence, and design clarifications.
11、 Complete other temporary tasks assigned by the department leader
12、 Work site: UVINZA, KIGOMA

Minimum Qualifications and experience
1、Language ability: English and Chinese is an added advantage
2、Age: 25 and 45
3、Gender: Male/Female
4、Work experience: 5 years’ experience in a Construction Industry.

Other requirements:
Candidates with Similar Railway Project and Structural Design Experience with professionals’ certificate are preferred.
