Job Summary
Responsible
for performing X-ray examinations according to protocols, security
measures, and standards of hygiene and privacy to contribute to the
improvement of patients’ health conditions
Job Responsibilities
- Perform
safe, high-quality radiographic imaging and analysis to assist in
diagnosing and managing patients, reporting any health concerns to the
medical referent. - Prepare patients for imaging by explaining
procedures, compiling medical histories, providing necessary protective
gear, and ensuring patient confidentiality. - Ensure compliance
with radiation safety regulations, including the use of protective
aprons and devices, and identify vulnerable persons to radiation, such
as pregnant women. - Maintain hygiene protocols in the X-ray room and equipment, including regular cleaning and proper waste disposal.
- Perform
various radiographic procedures such as angiography, biopsies,
venography, tomography, and surgical/trauma radiology, and independently
perform mammography. - Provide technical advice and assist in training less experienced technologists in specialized examination procedures.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on radiography equipment and report any issues or repairs needed.
- Regularly inventory and store materials according to specific conditions; requisition materials as needed.
- Ensure
biomedical equipment remains in good working order, performing
cleaning, minor maintenance, and alerting supervisors in case of
malfunction or damage. - Ensure medical practices adhere to the highest level of integrity and ethics, according to professional and
- MTI Codes of Conduct.
- Mentor direct reports and ensure they participate in capacity-building opportunities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary processes as per MTI policy.
- Ensure accurate data collection and timely report submission.
- Support
safeguarding of program participants and employees by promoting an
environment of awareness and upholding the MTI Protection from Sexual
Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and

Education, Licenses, & Certifications
- Diploma in diagnostic radiography from a recognized university/college.
- Must be registered with the medical radiology & imaging professionals council.

Job Summary
Provide obstetrical care to pregnant women and their babies, conducting
follow-ups before, during, and after delivery, according to MTI
obstetrical and reproductive health protocols, universal hygiene, and
newborn care standards under the supervision of a specialist doctor. The
aim is to ensure the health of mothers and babies and prevent
post-delivery complications.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide
comprehensive maternal and child services to mothers during and after
pregnancy, including managing complications and referring high-risk
pregnancies. - Responsible for delivering babies, preparing birth
attestation, and monitoring the general health condition of mothers and
newborns. - Assess the feasibility for the referral of pregnant
women from the Traditional Birthing Attendant (TBA) to the OPD/MCH for
medical evaluation or complicated deliveries. - Counsel mothers on
pregnancy and post-pregnancy management, including proper breastfeeding
techniques, bathing, and preparation of bottles. - Participate in
Primary Healthcare activities, including health education, family
planning, childbirth preparation, HCT services, and nutrition programs,
as well as Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission activities at the
health facility and in the community. - Provide primary care to women of reproductive age in accordance with the Basic Package of Health Services.
- Provide all non-surgical methods of family planning and counseling for surgical methods.
- Ensure babies are immunized according to the schedule.
- Support Doctors and Clinicians in managing sexual violence cases.
- Monitor the consumption of drugs and equipment required for maternity activities and notify supervisors of re-stocking needs.
- Ensure
