- Develop and implement HSSE policies, procedures, and programs specific to renewable projects in the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and security evaluations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Provide
support on various health and safety procedures relevant to the ongoing
project (such as noise levels, use of protective equipment, and use of
machinery, etc.); - Provide input for the development of health and safety systems, and procedures in line with corporate policies and guidelines;
- Support all health and safety-related matters during all phases of the project, project planning and implementation;
- In
line with the HSSE policies and procedures, raise risk mitigation
actions required outlining potential threats, risk levels, and recommend
mitigation strategies during project implementation, taking into
consideration relevant and existing assessments; - Prepare health
and safety work plans including budget for all aspects of the project
implementation in compliance with HSSE policies, procedures, and
guidelines; - Including HSE training and reporting.
- Follow up on the implementation of the Environmental Social Management Plan (ESMP) and Health and Safety plan on work sites.
- Propose and control projects’ budgets for health and safety and monitor related expenditures;
- Conduct
regular field inspection and monitoring visits to the project sites to
identify possible areas/issues of non-conformity (e.g. unsafe work at
heights and in excavations), prepare project’s health and safety-related
reports on occurrences, and provide statistical information to upper
management; - Ensure that all accidents are documented, reported
internally and/ or externally as per the agreed reporting protocols, and
investigated while ensuring that any recommended improvements are
implemented on time - Perform health and safety projects’ risk
assessments, both routine and exceptional, as required, to ensure
optimal health and safety standards are in place and to ensure that all
Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are
adhered to and are regularly reviewed; - Devise a plan and conduct periodic projects on-site HSE inspection and ensure closure of action items.

Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in human resources management or a relevant field.
- At least 1 – 3 years experience as an HSE personnel.
- Excellent personal and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work in a team-based environment and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Demonstrated written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills & attitude
- Strong attention to detail
