Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Identifying and eliminating obsolete operational processes &procedures and simplifying them
- Develop operation processes and procedures to improve service quality
- Ensure new operational procedures are implemented across the group
- Following up with proper updating of KPI tracking tools for all ops offices
- Developing flawless customs processes to streamline cross border movements
- Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the operations department
- Remain current with latest industry technology systems and procedures
- Prepare operations management reports and recommendations on request
- Providing a support role to operations
- Ensure all legal documentation of the fleet are in order
- Ensure accuracy of information updated on all operational platforms ie Airtable, Smartsheet, etc
- Mentor/coach the fleet teams to ensure overall efficiency
- Ensure statutory documents are uploaded on time
- Ensure PODs are uploaded on time to avoid delays in invoicing
- Perform any other task as assigned by supervisor/management
Education, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related field. An MBA qualification will be a plus.
- Experience in working in a structured system-oriented environment.
- Extensive knowledge of quality improvement systems.
- International exposure.
- Commercially astute.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation, leadership and innovation.
- Excellent written report writing skills.
