Medical Attendants at Kitengule Hospital October 2024
Job Type: Full-time
POST: MEDICAL ATTENDANTS
Main
objectives, under the supervision of registered Nurse shall assist
patients with personal basic needs like feeding, changing patientsā
positions, giving bed bath, providing sanitary round, triaging.
Qualifications
i. Must have a form four certificate
ii. Must have assistant nursing certificate
iii. At least one year working experience
iv. Knowledge of Computer is added advantage
Other Main Duties
i. Orienting and counseling clients
ii. Triaging
iii. Assisting disabled patients
v. Dusting
vi. Bed making
vii. Assisting Nurses in cannulation, dressing, Injection, vaccination
viii. Any other duties may be assigned
Attributes:
- Must be presentable
- Good Communication skills
- Good
interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain rapport with
patients/clients, Teamwork skills, good health and fitness. - sympathetic to patients
Registered Nurse

REGISTERED NURSE VACANCIES
Main
role of Registered Nurse assesses and identify patientsā needs, then
implement and monitor the patientās medical plan and treatment. They
also ensure that patient care is conducted according to the policies and
standards of Kitengule hospital.
General Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Nursing or Midwifery
- Must be registered with TNMC, with a valid license
- One year minimum experience.
- Adherence to health and ethical codes, including when under duress.
- Must be able to work under pressure and flexible
- Must be self-motivated
