Consultancy Farming Practices in Mbeya at Rikolto
We’re looking for a consultant to promote sustainable farming practices in Mbeya, Songwe, and Katavi regions.

Rikolto
is an international NGO with over 40 years of experience working with
farmer organizations and food chain stakeholders across Africa, Asia,
Europe, and Latin America. We tackle the challenge of ensuring future
food systems that serve everyone without burdening our planet. We ask:
“What will we eat tomorrow?”

Rikolto,
in partnership with Tanzania Microfinance Practitioners (TIMAP) and
Ecosystem Equity, is implementing the NATURE FUNDI project under the
REDAA programme, funded by UKAID, to support 5,000 smallholder farmers
in the Mbeya, Songwe, and Katavi regions. The project focuses on
sustainable farming practices for crops like rice, cocoa, coffee,
vegetables, and fruits, to promote environmental conservation.

We
are looking for a consultant to support the project by conducting
surveys, training trainers (ToTs), facilitating sustainable farming
practices, and establishing demonstration trials. This initiative aims
to enhance sustainable agriculture and improve farmers’ livelihoods.
