Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 10

• Assist in development and coordination of the bank’s internal auditing activities.
• Assist in Developing and implementing internal auditing policies, procedures, and program.
• Review of accounting procedures.
• Survey
  functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of
  operations, and adequacy of the system of control to achieve established
  objectives.
• Supervise or conduct independent audits of bank
  records and activities, and prepare varied analyses of the departments,
  and branches.
• Supervise, conduct, and report on the testing and adequacy of the bank’s internal controls over financial reporting.
• Investigate and determine causes of irregularities, and errors.
• Recommend corrective action and suggest improvement.
• Advise top management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on audit, and internal control matters.
• Prepare reports for each audit and investigation assignments
• Develop audit plan for each assignment to be carried out
• Participate in development of Internal Audit’s annual budget and monitors subsequent expenditures

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: NOT MORE THAN 5 OF THE MOST TYPICAL

• Undertake audit and advisory assignments under the direction of the Head of Audit.
• Organize audit working paper files for each assignment
• Identify and escalate significant audit issues and propose practical recommendations for implementation.
• Undertaking stakeholder engagements.
