Forman / Automotive Service Advisor
Forman / Automotive Service Advisor at Shades of Green Safaris September 2024
Job Type: Full-time
Position: Forman / Automotive Service Advisor (1 Position)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the automotive light and heavy- duty vehicle feet
- Maintaining vehicle appointment schedules and prepare job cards
- Answering to inquiries and identifying motor vehicle problems.
- Providing time and cost estimates in solving motor vehicle problems.
- Solving motor vehicle service issues and bookings.
- Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Automobile or a Diploma from NIT or any other institution of higher learning.
- Computer knowledge
- Excellent planning, organizational skills and ability to explain complex technical information in a simple manner.
- Self – motivated, confident and outgoing
- A team player with good communication skills
- Excellent networking skills and keen eye on analytical technical service details.
- Experience in a busy workshop environment and proven track of good performance is an added advantage
Auto Mechanic Technician (02 Positions)
Auto Mechanic Technician (02 Positions) at Shades of Green Safaris September 2024
Position: Auto Mechanic Technician (02 Positions)
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors. Perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct minor over hauling independently or conduct major over haul with the assistance of the workshop Forman.
- Perform general motor vehicle trouble shooting.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Forman.
Qualifications
- FTC
i.e. Full Technician Certificate or CSE Certificate of secondary
Education with a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Mechanic. - A self-motivated, confident and outgoing individual with good communication skills
- Excellent networking skills and keen eye on analytical technical service details.
- Able speak and write in both English and Kiswahili with computer awareness.
