POSITION OBJECTIVE
The
Branch Managers are responsible for leading and overseeing the
operations of our Branches, driving growth, profitability and customer
satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop the branch budget and strategy to ensure profitabilit
2. Create and pursue sales opportunities to meet targets and exceed customer expectations.
3. Coordinate branch goals with retail officers for annual objectives and sales campaigns.
4. Track and evaluate branch objectives to assess progress and performance effectively.
5. Enhance the quality of business relationships with retail clie
6. Visit customers regularly to maintain loyalty and expand customer base.
7. Offer financial products and services that cater to the unique needs
of SMEs, such as business loans, working capital financing, and cash
management solutions.
8. Provide expert advice and guidance to SME clients on financial matters, helping them achieve their growth objectives
9. Identify and target Government agencies at the local, regional, and national levels to solicit their banking business.
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government
officials, understanding their financial requirements and offering
suitable banking solutions.
11. To liaise with the Public and
Government officials in the area of operation of the Branch to maintain
good public relations and project good image of the bank.
12. Comply with the Policies and standards, Local laws and Regulations, Controls and Procedures of the Bank
13. Identify and mitigate operation and environmental risk inherent in
branch service delivery and minimize impact/exposure. Ensure tidiness
across the branch premises and clean-desk policy is exercise
14.
Ensure that all branch staff as prescribed in the operating
manuals/standard operating procedures (SOPs) adhere to all Operational
Procedures.
15. To ensure that the branch is adequately supplied
with stationery items and enough cash to meet day-to-day operations. You
will also ensure that adequate security is in place with regard to cash
and all bank documents/assets.
16. To carry out regular snap checks
for cash in tills/strong-rooms, controlled stationery, all suspense
accounts and stamp accounts.
17. To compile timely replies to all audit reports and ensure that auditors’ recommendations are implemented accordingly.
18. Carry out periodic staff evaluations.
19. Ensure that the Anti Money Laundering requirements are followed as follows:
a) Take all reasonable steps to verify and identify customers,
including performing Quality Assurance on accounts opened, and the
general KYC issues/CDD
b) Retain adequate records of identification,
account opening and transactions and ensure timely and properly filling
of customer mandates
C) Make/assist to effective reporting of suspicious transactions
d) Raise awareness of Money Laundering prevention by training all branch staff.
20. Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by Supervisor or higher authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Holder
    of Bachelor Degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business
    Administration, Finance or equivalent qualifications from recognized
    institutions. 
  • Must at least eight (8) years working experience
    in Banking Industry or Financial Institutions, in which at least three
    years’ experience in managing Bank Branch operations, SME and Credit.

Position: Banking Operations Officers – 3 Positions

POSITION OBJECTIVE
To
serve customers effectively, maintain competitive turnaround time and
process transactions accurately. His/her efficiency and courtesy often
reflects the Bank’s standard of service. He/she has to ensure that both
front and back office operations are performed fast, accurately and
friendly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide prospective customers who come over the counter for inquiries.
  • Coordinate all counter activities while ensuring that quality service is provided to customers.
  • Receive Cash and Cheque deposits
  • Posting Transactions
  • Verify teller proof of cash and teller proof of cheques against actual documents by ticking and signing the printouts.
  • Scrutinize internal vouchers to ensure that they are properly drawn and authorized in line with the approval limits.
  • Handle Foreign Exchange Transactions
  • Cross sell Banks Products to Customers
  • Correspond with Cards custodians on issues relating to ATM cards, check reports in order to solve customer complaints.
  • Comply with the Policies and standards, Local laws and Regulations, Controls and Procedures of the Bank
  • Report Suspicious Transactions
  • Ensure you comply with Money Laundering Prevention as per Bank Policy, Know your Customer(KYC)/Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
  • Computing and charging commissions, interest and all other manual bank charges on customers.
  • Fill delivery notes/registers for items moved from one office to another by post of dispatch.
  • Balancing teller’s cash at the closure of business daily.
  • Check and sign back-office entries raised by the respective clerks/tellers (call-over).
  • Prepare Bank reconciliation statement timely and accurately.
  • Reconcile and clear all suspended transactions
  • Filing/bundling records for safekeeping in the record rooms.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Holder
    of Degree in one of the following fields; Business Administration,

    qualifications from any recognized institution in related fields.
