Job Title : Tax & Budget Control Officer
Department : Finance Department
Reports to : Managing Director
Currently, it is looking for a Tax & Budget Control Officer who is
self-motivated, committed, result driven and self-motivated to work with
the company for the Finance department
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Taxation, accounting, finance, business administration or any related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax and Budget Preparation and Control
- Must be a Tanzanian
- Must be fluent in writing and speaking English language
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other accounting software packages such as Quick Books, Tally or familiarity with sage
- Applicants
should have a high level of discipline, communicative and interpersonal
skills, analytical, innovative problem-solving skills and time-managing
skills.
Responsibilities
Budget
- Preparing budget forecast and ensuring its consistency with planned recruitment, procurement and operational decisions
- Reviews and analyses the cost estimates and budget proposals
- preparation
of supporting documents (narrative and financial tables) with respect
to finalization of cost estimates and budget proposals - monitoring the approved budget on a continuous basis and participating in the preparation of relevant financial reports;
- Ensuring
that all expenditures are recorded in line with financial rules and
regulations of the Organization and approved budget structure is applied
in a correct and consistent manner - Tax Overseeing the tax transactions across the Company’s sites
- Tax forecasts controlling and data validation of the reports
- Coordinating and participating in tax audits and reviews
- Supporting and advising the Company’s in tax related issues
- To conduct desk audit on simple cases and assist in field audits
- To prepare respective periodic management reports
Internal Auditor Officer

Job Title : Internal Auditor officer
Reports To : Managing Director
Job Summary:
As
Internal Auditor, he/she will be responsible to examine and analyze
company records and financial documents. He/she will also identify
issues like compliance concerns, risks, fraud, and data inaccuracies.
Therefore, he/she will ensure the Company has accurate accounting
throughout the year and all other accounting teams follow proper
procedures and that all accounts are updated and accurate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing
the full audit cycle including risk management and control management
over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance
with all applicable directives and regulations - Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans
- Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
- Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
- Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
- Engage
to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules,
regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards - Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years proven working experience as Internal Auditor.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Sound independent judgement
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification of CPA(T),or equivalent experience, or working towards a professional certification is required
