Bookkeeper at CultivAid Tanzania August 2024
CultivAid is an Israeli not-for-profit agricultural development organization operating in East Africa.
We’re currently seeking a bookkeeper to join our team. This role
involves supporting the organization with Accounts and bookkeeping
activities.
“What will you be doing as a bookkeeper?”
- Assist in expense tracking.
- Updating the financial report on a day-to-day basis in the organization’s accounting systems.
- Financial record keeping; Scanning and uploading all expense receipts in drive.
- Write vouchers, attach the receipts with its respective vouchers, and file them in hard copy files.
- Payment of statutory payments (WCF, NSSF, PAYE& SDL)
- Assist with paying bills.
- Assist with Logistics

Job Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Business administration or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions
- + 1 year experience of bookkeeping role a must
- Proficient with computer Microsoft Office, emails and Excel is a must.
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organization skills and attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Must have a personal computer.
- Willingness to continue learning and staying updated.
