livelihood opportunities through holistic and sustainable development

Director of Finance and Administration
Director of Finance and Administration at May 2024
Role Description
This
is a full-time on-site role as the Director of Finance and
Administration at Milele Zanzibar Foundation. The Director of Finance
and Administration will be responsible for financial planning, preparing
financial statements, analyzing financial data, financial reporting,
and overseeing financial operations.They
will also be responsible for managing administrative functions and
ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in finance and administration within non-profit sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, ora related field
- CPA requirement
- Financial Planning, Financial Statements, and Financial Reporting skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Swahili
Marketing Communications Manager

in Zanzibar City. The Marketing Communications Manager will be
responsible for day-to-day tasks such as communication management,

Zanzibar City. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing

management. They will collaborate with stakeholders, manage staff,
develop partnerships, and ensure transparent and participatory
processes. The Executive Director will also be responsible for
fundraising, financial management, and advocacy efforts.
Qualifications
- 20+ years experience in non-profit management, strategic planning, and program management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in fundraising and financial management
- Knowledge of rural development and community-led initiatives
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and develop partnerships
- Advocacy skills and understanding of social and political contexts
- Fluency in English and Swahili
